Meet Jillian Otto

Méridien Partners was founded after nearly twenty-five years of leadership experience in Fortune 100 organizations, including executive leadership roles at Thermo Fisher Scientific and Patheon. Throughout that journey, founder Jillian Otto witnessed firsthand that exceptional business performance is rarely created by strategy alone. The organizations that consistently outperform are led by leaders who develop talent, build trust, create alignment, empower others, and inspire teams to do more than they thought possible.
Experience you can trust
Jillian’s career spans over two decades in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, and healthcare industries. She has experience with site, regional and global roles spanning manufacturing and distribution across both products and services businesses. Most recently, she served as Vice President and General Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific.
Over the years, Jillian has led teams through periods of tremendous growth, market downturns, acquisition integrations, significant organizational changes, and business transformations. She’s been responsible for hundreds of product launches, deployment of continuous improvement programs, building and executing strategic plans, standing up alliance management functions, and full P&L responsibility of business units ranging from $500M-$1B in revenue.
With a background in engineering, project management, commercial, and general management, she brings practical, real-world experience to every client engagement.
Jillian holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and an MBA, and she’s a member of the Center for Executive Coaching (CEC).
